Give your unsatisfactory life a little "imaginary" possibilities.

One morning, a friend went downstairs and found his car's rear window had been smashed. The car was full of New Year's gifts his company had given to retired employees, resulting in a loss of over ten thousand yuan. I thought he would be devastated, but instead, he posted photos on his WeChat Moments, warning his friends to be vigilant against theft. I asked him, "How can you be so carefree after such a bad thing?" He chuckled and replied, "I've reported it to the police, I've done everything I can. What's done is done, and no amount of pain can undo it, so I might as well try to be positive."

I finally understood the secret to his constant happiness. I recalled that not long ago, his brand-new car was accidentally scratched by another car. While he was waiting for the traffic police, I went to see if he needed any help, only to find him sitting by the roadside humming a song, seemingly unconcerned. I was curious how he could be so philosophical about it. If it had happened to me, I would have been furious, but he calmly said, "It's nothing. I've been driving for six or seven years, and this is the first accident like this. Just consider it another experience."

His composure truly opened my eyes. Thinking about myself, I often feel unhappy because of setbacks. If I could be like my friend, imagining that when things don't go my way, it's just a scene from a play or a novel, and I happen to be the protagonist, wouldn't it just feel like another experience? There's no hurdle that can't be overcome, and nothing that should make me angry.

From then on, I often started to imagine things that didn't go my way. Failing to get a promotion, I saw it as a workplace drama that needed more plot development, requiring me to put in more effort; a thief stealing my wallet, I saw it as a scene from the movie "A World Without Thieves," only I was the protagonist; and when my most trusted friend spoke ill of me behind my back, I saw it as a crucial test of my friend. I gradually discovered that by using these hypothetical scenarios, my life began to become happier, and my mindset gradually broadened.

Life is full of disappointments, which often affect our mood and interfere with our actions. Giving life a little "hypothetical" comfort allows these disappointments to drift away with the wind, leaving no trace in our hearts. Then, auspicious and fulfilling days will soon arrive.
