My Corner

"The forgotten corner is a postcard I send to afar"—I pondered this title for a long, long time because I've always struggled to define the meaning of "corner" to me. Later, I realized that a corner is a fantasy of distant places, a longing for the future. Corners of the world, corners of cities, corners of rooms, even corners of the heart—from the macro to the micro, from the external to the internal, every place can have its own "corner." These corners store our journeys, memories, and emotions. It's a wonderful feeling; you'll find that all stories are composed of fragments, and all memories contain corners. We even hope, we fantasize, that one day we'll meet someone in our own corner and say to that person: Thank you for finding me in this corner of the world.
