I don't know where I'm going, just as I don't know what the ultimate fate of humanity will be. In fact, the future is as elusive as a leaf in an empty forest, always hard to find. Birds always roam the forest; there are mountains, water, and green leaves everywhere...
Thinking about certain things makes me afraid, and afterwards, an indescribable feeling is always masked by heavy breathing. Learning tells us that the culture of a certain period is a reflection of the politics and economy of that period. Culture originates from life but transcends it. If that's the case, how do we face the various problems depicted in science fiction movies? Perhaps you'll say, "It's just a movie." But you'll find that movies about World War II are about the past, they are real. You'll also find that movies about the present, no matter how absurd or heinous the plots, will always reflect reality. And what about the future? Where will humanity's destiny lead us? In reality, we are already controlled by mobile phones and computers. Personally, I lack exercise and stay up late. Actually, I wasn't like this when I was a child; I just don't know when I became this way. Many adults say that a child's excessive use of mobile phones and computers is their own problem. I want to say that this isn't just a child's problem; it's a problem of our times, a problem of humanity itself. If we don't reflect on this, perhaps the movies are true.
Every era has heroes, every era has the spirit of leaders: the Renaissance, the Reformation, the Enlightenment… humanity has never been stopped by ignorance. At the moment the lights are about to go out, I believe someone will light a torch. Humans shouldn't go to extremes. I often ponder the meaning of life. Although I'm only so young, I understand that the times have given me life, given me questions, and given me opportunities. This is my mission, a question I, as a human being, should be considering.
