Last night, my third brother (Ah Xue's second brother) said he was back (to his hometown to take his wife to see a doctor). This morning, after dropping Zhao Zhao off at work, I went there too. Since I had plenty of time, I went to Lao Bao's (Bao 2's) fast food restaurant to sit for a while. He was busy, so I studied some English. Damn it, he told me to leave, but it was nothing! I know he wouldn't hate me that much because he's a straight person (I think so, I don't know if that's changed).
It was time for my third brother to finish his work, so I went to the park to wait for him. He said, "My third brother and sister-in-law have been hospitalized three times this year, and even one trip to Beijing isn't enough! What will we do if our child is filial but lacks the means? We'll be in the hospital sooner or later anyway." My third brother seemed a bit unwell, and I earnestly reminded him to let the child do business instead of working. I don't know if he'll understand. I'm genuinely worried. He ignored me and went to sit down, so I just said goodbye and left. I felt utterly ashamed! I
went to the market, bought some groceries, and went to a pyramid scheme location (Yue Lai). I argued with a male member of the scheme, who kept saying how bad the country was, which I disagreed with. He talked about how good ancient times were, basically expressing dissatisfaction with society. He said, "If this country is so bad, why don't you go to another country?" I asked him! He said he lacked the ability! He compared me to a pig and the Party to a human—utter nonsense! He told me to leave (this wasn't his home, and he was a guest). He was involved in a pyramid scheme (cryptocurrency). A pathetic guy. While arguing with him, I thought of arguing with a pig; regardless of winning or losing, I would truly be a pig! I left. The morning was quite nice on the way back. Damn it!
I still believe in kindness and encourage myself with quotes from historical figures to keep going.
