I hope one day

The people around me seem carefree, yet they're all planning for the future, while I'm still wasting my time and life.
I want to pursue a master's degree, a doctorate, and stay at the university as a teacher, doing a job that requires no bribes or favors, no competition or scrambling. I want a small house, a perfect kitchen. I'll get some certifications that can earn me money, so I can buy the things I like and go wherever I want.
I hope that one day I can give my mother living expenses and tell her that I can take good care of myself, and she can spend whatever I give her without having to save money for me.
