We need to work harder

I've had quite a few holidays lately, and I met up with some friends I hadn't seen in a long time. We chatted about what they'd been up to, and I suddenly realized I wasn't the only one
working hard . True effort doesn't need to be spoken; quiet hard work always bears fruit . Those who constantly emphasize the need to work hard are the ones who aren't truly working hard. While seeing my friends, I suddenly realized something: even friends I hadn't seen in a long time, once we started chatting, we could talk about anything, without any sense of distance. I think that's the true meaning of friendship. I feel very fortunate to have met these people, who have added color to my life . At the same time, I tell myself I need to work harder, not for others, but for myself.
