Random Thoughts Today

It's been a long time since I posted anything, and for a moment I don't know what to say.

My life lately feels repetitive: eating on time, then taking medicine shortly after, then staying home, watching TV, or sleeping—I've become incredibly lazy.

It feels like my former hardworking, ambitious self has vanished into thin air.

The weather today is nice, not too cold or too hot. Perhaps because I didn't sleep well last night, my head has been throbbing all day, I feel groggy and constantly want to sleep, and my head feels a little warm—I wonder if I have a fever.

I habitually logged onto QQ and saw a teacher's post.

No matter what, using excuses to wallow in self-pity is never forgivable. A book said that a woman can live without love, but absolutely cannot live without a job; she can live without a job, but absolutely cannot live without friends; she can live without friends, but absolutely cannot live without family! It turns out love is insignificant. No matter what, using excuses to wallow in self-pity is never forgivable; the less loved you are, the more you should love yourself.

Learning to admire yourself is essentially about discovering your own strengths and advantages. Those who envy others will forever remain envious if they only remain envious. Learning to admire yourself, without arrogance, leads to gratitude and ultimately success. Learning to admire yourself makes it easier to cherish what you have. The best life is the one that suits you.

If you've made up your mind and thought things through, then walk firmly on your path. Others' approval is ultimately just a reference, not the decisive factor in making a choice. Don't let others' approval drown out your inner voice and sway your decisions. No one will pay for your decisions except yourself. If you've truly made up your mind and thought things through, then walk firmly on your path. Even if the final result isn't what you hoped for, at least you bravely made the decision and persevered. Learn from your mistakes; maturity is about continuous trial and error and independent exploration.

I have to admit these two sayings are indeed very true. They also served as a wake-up call and invigorated my spirit. Thinking about my occasional moments of decadence and laziness, I feel deeply ashamed. The diligent person I was in school seems to be drifting further and further away from who I am now.

But I also know that it's impossible to completely change my shortcomings all at once; after all, no one is perfect. Therefore, I can only make the most of my time, and perhaps I will become better with the passage of time.
